Wildlife Trust
co-creating a nature festival with youth representatives
I’m experienced in facilitating large groups through creative processes and in this case, more than 60 youth representatives from the Wildlife Trusts gathered for two days to co-create a nature festival. We worked with Design Thinking principles and creative collaboration processes to ideate and develop emerging themes.
Working with tactile creative materials to design and discuss priorities enables a fresh and faster way to present the most interesting and important ideas.
The final result was a comprehensive map and guide to values and direction for continued development. It’s been a fantastic experience to work with The Wildlife Trusts and using a visual and creative approach ensured that this youth-led initiative could be truly inclusive, collaborative and fun. A brilliant creative collaboration project!

“Sophie worked with The Wildlife Trusts to help us develop a youth-led initiative around a festival. Sophie brought fresh thinking, creativity and fun to 2 days of young people co-creating a future festival for nature. Sophie was easy to work with, really well prepared and showed great listening skills, capturing the needs of our youth groups brilliantly. More than a scribe, Sophie applied her facilitation skills to create great results. The final piece is inspirational and brings clarity to what we will be developing over the coming year. Already thinking about how we can work together again in the future.”
